Greenhead Park, Huddersfield was where my parkrun adventure started. Our reason for being “up north” on this occasion was to visit our daughter (also a parkrunner).
My wife Cathy (another parkrunner!) had “done” Greenhead Park on a previous visit to Huddersfield, whilst I had stood on the sidelines as spectator. I remember watching the different runners in all corners of the park at the same time and wondering what it would be like to take part in something like this. I also remember “pacing” Cathy from the sidelines for about 100m or so and thinking..”you know what…I might be able to do this, even if I have to walk some of the way round.”
Wow, where it all began! Capturing these memories is a brilliant idea. Your photos are excellent as well. Particularly like megaphone man! Lx

Thanks, but most of these photos are taken by parkrun volunteers, on the day.

Well, in that case, it is your skill in the choice and editing which must be celebrated! Still great memories! Lx
