(not)parkrun

So, my last parkrun before COVID19 restrictions came into force was on 14th March. It was my 136th parkrun, my 100th parkrun at Tring; which I marked by getting a new PB of 29:25.

Then there was lockdown…Public Health UK told us to:

STAY HOME > PROTECT THE NHS > SAVE LIVES

They also said that we were allowed out of the house once a day for essential needs and also a period of outdoor exercise. Meeting together as parkrun was paused (understandably)…

..but did this deter the good folk of Tring parkrun?..Oh, no! Without so much as a break in step, our valliant core team got together and came up with Tring virtual parkrun….
